Bro. Combs has been a minister in the Powell Co area for over 20 years. He has pastured such churches as Morris Creek First Church of God, Stanton First Church of God, and now pastors the West Bend First Church of God. Bro. Combs and his wife felt the call to take on WBFC in early 1998.
Beverly runs the day to day operations of WBFC. She has worked for the Cabinet for Family & Children for 27 years then retired in 1999 to join WBFC. She is also the Spiritual Leader of the WCG of the West Bend First Church of God.
WBFC first opened in 1974 with owner Forest Drake. Since then WBFC has has changed ownership. In October of 1998 the Combs family took over and still the owners to this date. The station has also helped ministries go on to national stage such as The Bishops, The Sons Family and The Duncan's to name
a few. We have been a major force for promoting the gospel in music and word. We have had many groups come through our area such as The Hoppers, The Crabb Family and The Bishops to name just a few. We are now a 24 hour gospel music station that also broadcast on the internet.
